Use vinegar and water to bring up the shine on dull bathroom tiles

Try using citric acid to clean mold and mildew off of your bathroom tiles. Much more environmentally friendly than bleach

If steam is causing damage in your bathroom try running a cold tap before you turn on the shower. The less steam there is, the less mould!

Apparently you can remove rust stains from plastic work surfaces with lemon juice - didn't work when I tried it but maybe I needed a higher concentration of juice...

If you're cat's anything like mine you'll find he still can't work out where the litter tray is. I use a mixture of white vinegar and water to blot up any 'accidents' and stop any smells.

If you need to clean wallpaper try using stale bread thats been ever so slightly moistened. It get marks off without having to use soap.

If you want to stop dust settling on your TV screen try wiping the screen with a used sheet of fabric softener - it'll stop more dust forming on it!

Try using a bicycle pump to blow cobwebs out of hard to reach corners.

Having hacked a finger off attempting to build some shelves I found that bloodstains can be removed from carpet by soaking in cold water, blotting with some kitchen roll and then finishing off with carpet shampoo - the finger got sewn back on...

Save time on over cleaning by putting aluminium sheets down at the bottom. I haven't cleaned mine in years!
