The only thing that I've found to remove plaster/plaster dust (I spilled venetian plaster on my tile) from tile and grout is Goof-Off and a cotton ball. Dab on and rub gently then clean off with wet rag.

To effectively clean a glass top stove (I hate the white one that came in my new house!!) what you do is take a straight edge razor blade scraper and scrape extra residue off. Weiman's glass top cleaner (available at Wal-Mart) and a paper towel work wonders. If you still have those dreadful black boil over marks a magic eraser can work wonders too.
