To clean burnt food from under the stove, try a mixture of baking soda, salt, and water. It works wonders as a cleaner, and if you make a separate batch, it can be used as toothpaste, as well!

First tip! :) I read someone had trouble with marks from their child's bath-toys on the tub. I would try using a good baking-soda based toothpaste with a cleaning toothbrush on the marks. If that doesn't do it, use baking soda on half a lemon or lime (be sure to puncture the half with a fork a bit, so it gets juicy). Good luck! (LOVE this show. <3)

Burnt food and sticky grub always get stuck in the gaps on the top of the cooker">cooker. There is no way of preventing this from happening. So when you notice that the grime starts to build up in this area use a toothbrush and a tiny bit of toothpaste with water to take the grime away. Then to make it shine wipe it down with a dry fluff free cloth. ;]

I have some antique silverware which i've just bought some super expensive cleaner for, but my mum used to use toothpaste on hers. Aparently you use a bit of water and don't scrub too hard. I'm sticking with my expensive stuff though

Another tip for cleaning silver. I coat it with toothpaste and then rinse it off with warm water.
