i regularly drop a milton tablet in to my toilet bowels to keep them free from lime scale. we have very soft water where we live and tent to get a pink residue around where the water comes out of the holes and sinks upstairs , by using a little bit of bleach this ilimintates the stain and leaves the toilet sparkling.

Cleaning the toilet. I slip a few denture tablets in the toilet daily then just a swoosh of the brush and it is easier for the weekly scrub.

I found the best way to clean a dirty toilet is to use 5 tspoons of baking soda mixed with boiling water. If you leave this in the toilet overnight the dirt should just fall off the next day. And for an even nice odour use the zest of a lemon aswell.

Question - How do I remove stubborn candle wax from a toilet? It was left burning (by my bf) on top of the toilet until it was all wax and melted everywhere! Help!!! I got most off with a spatuala, but some won't budge. I think I saw the girls remove candle wax from something but I can't remember how they did it. It looks so messy and is driving me crazy! Thanks for any help!

I live in a hardwater area and suffered with problems with limescale especially on glass shower door, a friend of mine recommended blue toilet duck, I was desperate, I tried it and it worked!! I just put it, on rubbed it around then left it for a few minutes, rubbed it again and rinsed off, it was the only thing that worked for me.

After seeing Kim use a pumice stone to remove lime scale from a toilet bowl, I tried the same technique on the hard water buildup on the tiles in my shower. It worked!

Use babywipes to clean your tv,computer and some wooden shelves its grabs all the dirt and the dust sticks to it,and it doesnt just spread the dust..you'll be amazed! also use toilet tissue to then dry the wet bits off. babywipes also work wonders on some leathers, keyboards, futon matress's,computer screens, nicotine stains.

denture tablets are good at cleaning other places, including toilet scale so put some into your toilet bowl and let them fizz

Ok, if you've ever dropped a penny in a glass of coke you'll know how well it cleans it. Why not use coke for more everyday cleaning? I bet it's great at shifting toilet stains...
