Dirty Talk

After washing my lace curtains I hang them up with the window open so they diffuse the house with a nice fresh scent while they dry.

I slip a scented dryer sheet in the bottom of the garbage can, in stinky shoes, in the sofa cushions, beside the cat litter pan, in front of my osculating floor fan and in my linen closet for a nice fresh scent throughout the whole house.

I use a fresh scented dryer sheet in my vacuum cleaner to diffuse the house with a fresh clean scent while I vacuum.

Just before your about to throw out dying flowers.... Pick the leaves and place them ontop of radiators around the house! The flowers still have fragrance in them and it save you having to buy air freshners!

I add essential oils to my vinegar when making up my counter spray. 1 part bicarbonate soda, 1 part vinegar,1 tsp borax, 10-15 drops essential oil. It cleans fabulously and the essential oil leaves a great scent.

Orange and lemon peel: My mother always kept the long peel of oranges hanging in the kitchen. She would then recycle them via the washing up bowl until the scent was worn out... then the compost!

I clean a smelly garbage disposal with large chunks of grapefruit rind. It cleans the gunk off the blades, and leaves a fresh scent.

Once you have hoovered your rooms, sprinkle carpet freshner powder under furniture like the sofa and shoe racks for a nice scent!

Rub a small amount of aromatherapy oil onto light bulbs (make sure they are turned off) when the lights are turned on the bulbs heat up and you get a lovely scent!
