I slip a scented dryersheet in the bottom of the garbage can, in stinky shoes, in the sofa cushions, beside the cat litter pan, in front of my osculating floor fan and in my linen closet for a nice fresh scent throughout the whole house.
Just before your about to throw out dying flowers....
Pick the leaves and place them ontop of radiators around the house!
The flowers still have fragrance in them and it save you having to buy air freshners!
I add essential oils to my vinegar when making up my counter spray. 1 part bicarbonate soda, 1 part vinegar,1 tsp borax, 10-15 drops essential oil. It cleans fabulously and the essential oil leaves a great scent.
Orange and lemonpeel: My mother always kept the long peel of oranges hanging in the kitchen. She would then recycle them via the washing up bowl until the scent was worn out... then the compost!
Rub a small amount of aromatherapy oil onto light bulbs (make sure they are turned off) when the lights are turned on the bulbs heat up and you get a lovely scent!
