To remove paint from clothing no matter how long its been there use equal part ammonia and turpentine. Saturate the spot(s) for several minutes and then wash with warm soapy water.

as for the baskets under burners on an electric stove... you can buy new ones very cheap. If your oven is a self cleaning...add the baskets in for the whole cleaning cycle. Or you can get black stove pipe paint and spray paint them like new.

Dip a soft bristled paint brush in fabric softener and allow to dry. Use this to dust your knick-knacks. It will not only remove the dust but keep the dust from collecting so quickly.

In response to Dannii Lamb's mould problem... You can remove the mould using a strong bleach solution, and you can get a fungicidal additive for paint from most builder's merchants, just mix it with your paint and redecorate... The condensation occurs because there's not enough air circulation in the room, consider leaving the window open just a touch whenever you're at home... Hope this helps

I remember an episode where Kim and Aggie gave a great tip on avoiding spiders. It was something like lemonjuice rubbed onto the walls... anyone remember exactly what that was? I don't wanna ruin the paint!!!!

My friend kept on getting marks from her jewellery, which we think was an allergic reaction, but after watching her paint her toe nails, I tried painting her jewellery. With a nice thin coat of clear nail varnish you can’t notice it and now she can happily wear it again!

When you can't get to the dust in small areas, spray furniture polish on to a paint brush.......it works wonders.

If you need to clean wooden window frames just use warm soapy water - anything else can strip the paint. Just make sure that you dry it thoroughly afterwards.
