Thanks to Kim for this idea on her show. If you run out out of soap pads. Roll a sheet of tin foil into a ball and it will work better the the soap pad in washing stubborn food off of pots & pans. I looked at this tip weird when I heard it & tried it. It works. I told my daddy when he was wondering if we had any the next day. He gave me the same weird look then also tried it. Its cheaper too. If you have a pet urine problem in the house you can make a doggie diaper for a male dog. Just buy flannel and velcro, measure the dogs circumference, sew an appropriate sized rectangle out of the flannel to wrap around the dogs middle (covering the privates) and fasten at the dogs back with the velcro. You can use incontinence pads sold at any drugstore just placing them inside the rectangle. Changing this pad a few times a day is so much more sanitary then finding an unexpected puddle. Still let the dog out whenever needed but there is no more surprise urine carpet soiling- especially through the night.

louise....if your tub is either ceramic/porcelain or fiberglass type, try dilute white vinegar, spray on and let sit for a while, then soap using either a grease cutting dish washing detergent or a shampoo for oily hair without built in conditioner. Rinse well. For stubborn rings,a paste of water and baking soda or those new erasure cleaning pads ( Mr. Clean) and some elbow grease should do it. Let me know how it goes.....Sparky

If you're using steel wool pads for cleaning then store them in the freezer to stop them rusting.
