Can anyone help? My mother was a 3 pack a day smoker and I have inherited her antique wooden furniture coated in nicotine. What can I use to clean the furniture of nicotine without damaging the wood finish? Thanks.

We have old Edwardian brilliant cut glass badly stained with 100+ years of coal dust, smoke & nicotine which seemed impossible to clean with conventional cleaners. We made a paste of bicarb & vinegar and smeared over, left it for 15 minutes and washed off with a bit of elbow grease - the glass is now sparkling clean.

Use babywipes to clean your tv,computer and some wooden shelves its grabs all the dirt and the dust sticks to it,and it doesnt just spread the dust..you'll be amazed! also use toilet tissue to then dry the wet bits off. babywipes also work wonders on some leathers, keyboards, futon matress's,computer screens, nicotine stains.
