After you have finished sqeezing the juice of a lemon, put half in your dishwasher and put on quick wash. It's a cheap way to clean your dishwasher and get rid of nasty smells. Fill the other half lemon with salt and sit in the fridge to absorb nasty smells.

Before I got my cats fixed they had this nasty habbit of "Spray" (I fixed that ;)) Anyways, to get rid of that nasty smell I use WINDEX on the spot where the cat went. It got rid of the smell and cleaned the spot nice.

Getting nasty stains out of white, off-white, or even yellow-toned fabric is a breeze. Take an old toothbrush, and one cup of hot water containing 1 spritz of Tilex cleaner with bleach. Dunk the toothbrush in the mixture and rub the stain very gently. It will disappear before your eyes. Rinse stain afterward with regular warm water, and pat up the moisture to dry. Be careful, though, especially with clothing. Tilex is powerful and will take the color out!

Buy different coloured chopping boards for keeping your meat and veg separate. I bought two of the same in a twin pack, but after a nasty bout of salmonella, realised that I must have got the two mixed up by accident.
