Milton sterilising fluid is great for cleaning tea stains off the inside of mugs, you can also clean the dried up milk in the filters in your child's sippy cup at the same time, just mix with water and leave it to work its magic.

To clean tea stained mugs drop a denture cleaning tablet in each cup and fill with warm water. Leave a few minutes and rinse - they gleam and it costs pennies!

To remove tea and coffee stains from mugs; add a few drops of baby bleach to water in the mugs/cups and leave to soak overnight. My Mom gave me this tip, her reckoning was that if it didn't hurt babies bottles it wouldn't hurt adults mugs.

to remove tea and coffee stains from mugs pour a small amount of washing powder into the cups fill them with boiling water. Leave for an hour or so then empty and rinse the cups clean making sure they are rinsed properly as it may leave a funny taste if not properly rinsed. This works for me and is really easy to do
