Children's toys, get you kids to clean them. Bring them in the tub with bubble bath and scrubber, or outside play in the baby pool with warm water and bubbles.

Keep a chucks sponge in the bathroom at all times. Everyday when I brush my teeth I wipe the sink, mirror, bench and bath with the chucks. It takes 30 seconds if you do it everyday. Just use water and squeeze out really well and your entire bathroom and even mirror will sparkle. You may think the mirror will be hazy but it dries crystal clear. I have two kids and my bathroom is always sparkling. I use a cleaner on my bathroom once a week and at this time again only takes about 1 minute to clean.

I put my children's bath toys into the dishwasher to clean them. If they are really funky I will soak them in bleach solution first. If the toy won't make it through the dishwasher, it wasn't really worth it! Also, I removed the squeaky from the toy shark, after discovering that it was growing black mold inside. It doesn't make noise anymore, but I know it won't hurt the kids either. :) Love Kim & Aggie my heroes!

If you have had a sore throught or your kids have dropped their toothbrush">toothbrush, use orange flavored listerine to soak your toothbrush">toothbrush in for ten minutes. I also like to rinse out the tooth brush holder with this. It has a nice fresh smell .

QUESTION: Not a tip. My kids poured something in the air conditioning/heater vents in their bedroom (located on the floor) and the smell alerted me to it. I wrapped my hand in a bleach/water and then vinegar/water solution and put it down inside as far as I could. I pulled out moldy, mildewy grimey slime. How do I clean this area thoroughly? I can still smell some in there....

If you have kids and find that you are tidying up every 2 minutes then get your self a box. I have one for my little girl and I tell her to put her toys in the box when she has finished with them. At the end of the day I put them back where they go and it only takes me 10 minutes.

This is a brilliant tip if you've got kids (and your kids have got crayons!). Spray WD40 onto the crayon stain and just wipe away. Works every time!

On windy days, try drying your clothes using a kite. Great for keeping the kids occupied and for weathering new jeans.
