Not a tip but a plea for help! Kim mentioned in one of her shows "all that you need to kill mold". I have mold in the tile grout in my bathroom and I can't remember what she used (I think baking soda and a lemon were involved but I really don't remember) Can anyone please help? Thank you!!

Actually, this is a question. My tile floor in the kitchen is only a year old. This is the main floor where people enter the home from outside. The grout is suppose to be a light color. It is now a dark dirty color. How do I clean the grout to make it beige again? I've used ammonia and clorox.

The only thing that I've found to remove plaster/plaster dust (I spilled venetian plaster on my tile) from tile and grout is Goof-Off and a cotton ball. Dab on and rub gently then clean off with wet rag.

To clean tile grout line mix 2cup of bicarbonate soda, 1cup borax, and about 1cup of hot water. This will make a paste. Smear some of the paste in grout line and scurb with a grout brush. Second have some clean hot water in another bucket for rinseing.

I am looking for a suggestion to clean my grout on my ceramic tile floor. I can't stomach the smell of vinegar so I am looking for an alternative that won't break my back (had surgery and have newborn). Thanks so much. I am addicted to the show!

Save old toothbrushes they are great cleaning tools for around taps, shower head, on the grout between tiles etc, and you can use most cleaning products with them them!

After spending hours trying to clean grout">grout, and just about giving up, I found the perfect solution. You can coat the grout">grout with a product called One Step Grout Coating Pen, made by Tile Gard. It made the grout">grout look brand new. I then sealed it to keep it that way. I haven't cleaned grout">grout in a year!
