There is a product on the market in the States that is amazing for removing stickers. It is called UNDU, and it comes in a bottle with a small scraper attached. To use it, simply use the scraper to lift a corner of the sticker, squeeze a few drops out, and use the scraper to keep lifting the sticker. Any glue residue can be wiped up with another drop or two and a paper towel. I have used this on new purchases and it is also safe for scrapbooking -- it dries and won't damage your paper. The same company also makes a candle wax remover, several bottles of which have been donated to my local church altar guild.

To Remove grease stains from leather shoes smooth a coating of glue from a puncture outfit (rubber solution) over the stain. Leave for 24 hours then peel off.

re: Grandpa's a Honey! Okay, I had to think about this one for awhile... but I have to say the only thing I can suggest is rubbing oil or bees wax into your wood, so that it acts as a protective barrier to any dirt (or honey!). Your wood will love you for it. As for your Grandpa, maybe a cute reminder would work. Take some construction paper, cut out a circle, and glue it to the top of the honey jar. Write in something like 'Please wash-up, Honey!' or the like. :) I think it's sweet (er, pun not originally intended...) that you have lovingly cleaned up each time with no fuss to your Granddad. :) Don't see that kind of respect from a lot of folks these days. :) Take care. Hope it helps!

If your dog has puppies!!!! You can get some old cheap shelving paper that is shiney on one side and has glue on the other side. Line a large cardboard box with it. You will only need to line the bottom and a few inches up the sides. Lay down newspaper, all you have to do is wrap up the newspaper and wipe. Great for whelping, raising till sold or house broken, it is easy to keep clean disinfected also inexpensive.

To repair a cigarette burn in the carpet then trim the burnt fibres, then fill with wood glue and add trimmed fibres from the undamaged carpet
