Not a tip-question- does anyone know how to get burned on food, grease, etc of the stainless steel baskets under electric stove burners? I can't stand the look of foil on them.

Thanks to Kim for this idea on her show. If you run out out of soap pads. Roll a sheet of tin foil into a ball and it will work better the the soap pad in washing stubborn food off of pots & pans. I looked at this tip weird when I heard it & tried it. It works. I told my daddy when he was wondering if we had any the next day. He gave me the same weird look then also tried it. Its cheaper too. To keep my drip pans on the stove clean I wrap them in almuinum foil. I replace them monthly. Use the heavy duty stuff for durability. You can also place a sheet in the bottom the oven to catch spills. If yours is a gas stove, just cut holes in the foil and place under racks.
