If your couch is dusty and company is coming, grab a dryer sheet and give it a good rub down. It picks up the dirt and leaves a lovely fragrance that doesn't smell like you just emptied out a can of air freshener. Also helpful on your coat if you spent the evening around smokers.

After spending hours trying to clean grout">grout, and just about giving up, I found the perfect solution. You can coat the grout">grout with a product called One Step Grout Coating Pen, made by Tile Gard. It made the grout">grout look brand new. I then sealed it to keep it that way. If your laminate work surfaces are worn from too much scrubbing, apply a light coat of stainless steel polish and buff dry (after cleaning, of course!). Stainless steel polish is made to be used on food preparation surfaces, so it's non-toxic. The polish keeps your work surfaces smooth and easy to wipe down. Plus, stains won't set in as quickly!
