To wash mould away from bedroom wall surface i have often found that using hot soapy water is good but then using straight lemon juice to remove the black stain it leaves behind.

If you rub a few drop escential oil on cold light bulbs, it will make your room smell frsh when you turn on the light. The oil will heat and disperse throughout the room. Lavender works great in the bedroom, it helps you relax and citrus scents work great in the office, it wakes you up. Try cinnamon to make you house smell homey!

QUESTION: Not a tip. My kids poured something in the air conditioning/heater vents in their bedroom (located on the floor) and the smell alerted me to it. I wrapped my hand in a bleach/water and then vinegar/water solution and put it down inside as far as I could. I pulled out moldy, mildewy grimey slime. How do I clean this area thoroughly? I can still smell some in there....

Vacume your matteresses once a month, as dead skin cells and microscopic bugs that feed on them build up, if not vacumed regulaly.

When you are hoovering the floor in the bedroom, put some michael jackson music on, attach a pair of strong horsehair brushes to your feet and your moonwalking will help to remove dustmites.
