Instead of using a feather duster which will just move dust around your room, fill a bowl with hot water and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil (I recommend lemon and lavender). Then soak a clean rag in the bowl, wring out and use to pick up dust. You'll enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy while giving your house a great smell and an eco friendly clean!

Rub a small amount of aromatherapy oil onto light bulbs (make sure they are turned off) when the lights are turned on the bulbs heat up and you get a lovely scent!

If you’re fed up of a smelly house, try putting some aromatherapy oil on a cotton ball and putting it inside your vacuum bag. As you vacuum up dirt you’ll leave a great smell behind.
