Can anyone help...? I have just bought a second hand leather sofa and it stinks of cigarette smoke! I have tried airing the sofa, wiping it down with anti bacterial wipes and even spraying the bottom with fabreeze but it still smells bad! Does anyone know how to remove the smell of smoke without damaging the leather? Thanks Fee

To repair a cigarette burn in the carpet then trim the burnt fibres, then fill with wood glue and add trimmed fibres from the undamaged carpet

For fag stains on the carpet pour a bit of milk on the stain and let it soak in. It'll stop it browning over and then if you rub it with some raw potatoe it will be as good as new!
