If you're cat's anything like mine you'll find he still can't work out where the litter tray is. I use a mixture of white vinegar and water to blot up any 'accidents' and stop any smells.

This is a brilliant tip if you've got kids (and your kids have got crayons!). Spray WD40 onto the crayon stain and just wipe away. Works every time!

I found out by accident that spraying furniture polish on trainers makes them whiter (if they were dirty say) so it probably works on other things

If you've used a plastic bowl with raw onions, fill with water and a tablespoon of Milton and leave to soak overnight. The smell will be gone in the morning.
