Don't use expensive proprietary cleaners on ceramic hobs, use a value brand cream cleanser and finish off by buffing up with a few drops of white vinegar on a soft cloth to shine it up.	<![CDATA[]]>

Need suggestion. I had a fire in my kitchen which has left the walls and the roof stained with smoke. I could wipe off only a part of it though not clearly. was wondering if there is a way to clean the walls to avoid repainting. TRY USING A SUGAR SOAP SOLUTION :)	<![CDATA[]]>

Don't waste precious fridge space with bowls of baking soda or coffee - pop in a whole lemon (or two) to absorb smells & deodorise your fridge naturally. Replace it every few months.	<![CDATA[]]>

To easily remove burned on grease, pan drippings etc. from stove burner grids, soak them in a strong solution of hot water and laundry ammonia. I use a Dutch oven covered with a lid to protect against the fumes. You can leave it outside if you want. Soak them until the spills just wipe off. If your grids are very bad, you can soak them overnight. It doesn't hurt them.	<![CDATA[]]>

I have seen a few microwave solutions that include a bowl of water ad a slice of lemon and I agree but would like to add that if you alow the bowl to sit for five to ten minutes and then come into the microwave with a clean dry cloth starting from the top nearly every bit will just wipe away from the soaking in the steam.	<![CDATA[]]>

If you are having trouble with fruit flies in your kitchen just take a coffee mug and put about one quarter of a cup of cider vinegar and a tablespoon of dish soap into it. Vinegar first and let the dish soap settle not mix into it. Leave this out for 24 hours and all of the fruit flies wil have come for vinegar and stayed because of the soap :)	<![CDATA[]]>
